Joe (Movie Review)

JOE is een nieuwe applicatie voor de smartphone van je favoriete radiozender – om het gezellig en aardig te worden. De JOE-app brengt je tijdloze hits uit de jaren 70, 80 en 90 af direct naar je scherm – met een systeem die je niet onmisbaar kunt te luisteren.

At the airport, Joe notices a public frenzy surrounding Henderson. After a brief meeting with hacker Will Bettelheim, who suggests that he won’t be able to help Joe create an untraceable identity in the time frame he needs, Joe kidnaps him and imprisons him in a plexiglass vault hidden in a storage unit.

Back at his apartment, Joe receives a call from a hysterical Beck who tells him that Peach survived the Central Park attack. He then finds a note from Delilah that she had found in the cage, revealing that she was stabbed by some crazed fan. Joe decides to stab her as well, but she interrupts him and says that she knows that he loves her and that it’s okay.

Meanwhile, Candace has a mental breakdown at Love’s house after a video of her collapsing at Henderson’s home goes viral online. The family then invites her to join them at a wellness retreat in Austin, Texas. During the trip, Candace and Love become closer than ever, but their burgeoning relationship is challenged by Forty’s constant need for reassurance and emotional dependency. Later, Joe confides in Will about his father’s physical abuse as a child, and he realizes that the abuse may have played a role in why he became a psychopath.
